Job Description:

Working closely within a data focused team, this role is primarily responsible for designing, testing and executing one-off and regularly run SQL scripts and ETL packages to migrate data from legacy databases into SQL server databases.

Location:

Denver Metropolitan Area (Englewood, CO - Meridian Office Park)

Key Responsibilities:

    • Perform legacy system data conversions into our enterprise case management system
    • Ensure as part of the data migration that data quality, integrity and completeness is maintained or improved
  • Provide feedback to project team based on conversion requirements
  • Troubleshooting, debugging, and testing of data

 

    • Some client-facing activity
  • Light Travel < 10%

 

Required Skills:

  • Bachelors in Computer Science or Software Engineering
  • 2+ years professional experience in a corporate setting

 

  • 2+ years of conversion/development experience with SQL (Structured Query Language)
  • Strong understanding of relational databases, T-SQL, ETL tools, data conversion and data cleansing methodologies
  • Analytical Thinker - effective at understanding problems and developing one or more approaches to solving the problem
  • Applying standards - ability to follow, adopt and recommend and promote conversion standards
  • Communication - possess effective verbal and written communication skills suited for technical audiences, peers and clients

Helpful But Not Required:

  • Xml/Xslt
  • SCRUM or Agile development methodologies

 

    • Experience with source control systems
  • Experience completing and tracking issues using JIRA
  • Court Case Management experience
