Job Description:

Develop custom software interfaces using a combination of Java and Groovy by working within a client focused team. This role is primarily responsible for designing, developing and testing interfaces for our enterprise case management product.

Location:

Denver Metropolitan Area (Englewood, CO - Meridian Office Park)

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design, develop, troubleshoot, debug, and test software interfaces

 

    • Maintain, and improve the performance of, existing software interfaces
  • Review and provide feedback on development requirements to business analysts

 

    • Recommend enhancements to existing processes to achieve continuous improvement
  • Develop software solutions with an agile mindset

 

  • Interface with clients as required, including minimal travel to client locations

Required Skills:

  • Bachelors in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or equivalent experience

 

    • 2+ years of professional, full-time development experience using a C based language, or similar
    • Strong understanding of object oriented programming design patterns
  • Experience with git and git based source control systems

 

  • Analytical Thinker - effective at understanding problems and developing one or more approaches to solving the problem
  • Applying standards - ability to follow, adopt and recommend and promote development standards
  • Communication - possess effective verbal and written communication skills suited for technical audiences, peers and clients

Helpful But Not Required:

  • Java and Groovy fluency

 

    • 2+ years of professional, full-time experience with querying relational databases, preferably TSQL or PL/SQL
  • Knowledge of Windows Server based environments and networks
  • Knowledge of Court Case Management Systems or Courts
  • SCRUM or Agile development methodologies
  • Knowledge of interfacing with REST and SOAP APIs
